Egg Cook-Off

Crackin' the Past: Historic Egg Recipe

Celebrate 250 years of America's rich culinary heritage one egg at a time! Step back into the kitchens of the past and recreate a historic recipe that showcases the incredible versatility of eggs. From hearty homestead suppers and colonial custards to pioneer favorites and Victorian-era specialties, we invite you to bring history to the table.

Recipes may be either sweet or savory. Modern adaptations are permitted to accommodate today's food safety standards and commonly available ingredients, but the finished dish should remain true to the spirit and character of the original historic recipe. Entries must feature Eggs as the primary ingredient, not simply a garnish or minor component.
