SPECIAL ENTRIES

America 250 Celebration

2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence — a milestone celebration of America’s history, spirit, and future. To honor this historic occasion, the Fine Art Department of the Utah State Fair invites artists of all ages to showcase their creativity in a special themed America 250 exhibit.

Through art, we celebrate the people, places, traditions, freedoms, and shared experiences that have shaped our nation and continue to inspire future generations. Artists are invited to submit one original current artwork that reflects their personal interpretation of this theme.

This special themed entry may be submitted in addition to an artist’s regular Fine Art Department entries, giving participants an extra opportunity to share their creativity and celebrate this historic anniversary.

Participants are encouraged to include a short artist statement describing the inspiration and meaning behind their piece. All entries must follow the Fine Art Department’s standard rules and guidelines regarding mediums, presentation, and framing requirements.
