Big rodeo dreams start small! Mutton Bustin’ at the Utah's Own Rodeo gives our littlest cowboys and cowgirls the chance to climb aboard a woolly “bronc” and hang on for one unforgettable ride. Cheer them on as these pint-sized competitors test their grit, determination, and rodeo spirit in one of the Utah State Fair’s most crowd-favorite traditions. It’s fast, fluffy, and guaranteed to bring plenty of smiles, cheers, and a few spectacular dismounts!
RULES:
- One entry per child. Child may only compete at one performance.
- Helmets are required (bring your own, or we can provide one)
- Child must be at least 4 years of age and weigh 50 lbs or less (they will be weighed at check-in)
- Ropes are not allowed.
- Spurs are not allowed.
- One helper per child will be allowed access to the chute area.
- 10 riders and 2 alternates will be drawn for each performance.
