Corn samples should be carefully selected. The ears should be firm, well matured and free from disease and injury. The variety should be adapted to the section from which it was exhibited. Evidence of high yield and general uniformity of samples are also important. The entire plant above ground should be shown. The bundles consist of three stalks, neatly tied in four places.
