RIBBONS Reimagined
The Utah State Fair invites exhibitors to participate in Ribbons Reimagined, a special Fiber Arts division featuring dimensional ribbon art created from authentic Utah State Fair ribbons. This is a fun way to repurpose old ribbons from the past that were not used. This unique challenge encourages artists to honor the past while creating something new, reflecting the spirit of the fair and traditions that continue to inspire future generations.
Using the ribbons provided, create an original piece of art in one of the following classes:
Classes425. Ribbon Flowers
426. Ribbon Sculpture
427. Ribbon Animal or Figure
428. Ribbon Miniature Arrangement
429. Ribbon Mixed-Media Artwork
Important Information:
- Participation is limited due to available ribbon supply. It is on a first come first serve basis.
- Official Utah State Fair ribbons and rosettes may be picked up at the Fairpark Administration office starting June 17th until we run out.
- Exhibitors must incorporate the provided ribbons and/or rosettes as a significant component of the entry.
- All completed entries must be delivered to the Fiber Arts Department on September 3rd, 4th, or 5th.
- Registration and entry fee will be done when you pick up your ribbons from the Administration office. Registration Fee is per the standard fiber arts fee schedule.
