295. TABLE SETTING

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Pre-registration required via Google Form at
Entry Fee: $3.00 (paid at check-in)
• Space is limited – exhibitors will be selected by random drawing
from pre-registered applicants
• Limit: One entry per exhibitor

SETUP DETAILS
Setup Date & Time: September 3rd, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Zion Building
Check-in & payment required onsite before setting up
Tear Down: All displays must be removed on Monday, Sept 15th 10 am
- 7 pm or Tuesday, Sept 16th 10 am - 2 pm or become the property of
the Utah State Fair

1st–3rd Place in Each Category (Ribbon + Premiums)


JUDGING CRITERIA FOR TABLE SETTINGS:
Judging is not open to the public

Creativity & Originality..............25----- Is the concept unique and imaginative? Does it tell a story?
Composition & Balance........... 20 -----Are elements arranged with intention and harmony?
Use of Materials.......................15 -----Are textures, colors, and objects thoughtfully chosen?
Craftsmanship & Neatness......10----- Are items well-made, clean, and presented professionally?
Overall Visual Impact...............10----- Is it striking from afar and engaging up close?

DISPLAY GUIDELINES
• Limit one entry per exhibitor
• Each exhibitor will receive one 34" x 34" table space (do not bring your own table)
• Two place settings are required (plate, glassware, utensils, napkin, etc.)
• Centerpieces and props are encouraged and may include risers, textiles, backdrops, or decorative elements
• All items must fit within assigned space and not obstruct neighboring entries
• Not allowed: Live flames, live plants or flowers, glitter, or open food.
• Faux or sealed food displays are allowed
• All components must be stable, clean, and safe for public display
• Each exhibit must include a title card and short description (50–100 words) explaining the theme or inspiration
• No electricity is available
