Charcuterie Board Contest

Location: Demonstration Kitchen in the Zion Building

Entries Accepted: 6:00 pm

Prizes:

• 1st Place: $250
• 2nd Place: $150
• 3rd Place: $100

• Judging will be based on:
  • Originality 30%
  • Taste Appeal 20%
  • Appearance 50%
• Use any product and make any type of entry EX: cheese, meats, fruits, nuts, butters, crackers, breads, jams/jellies, vegan products, etc.
• All Cheese products must be by Cache Valley Cheese.
• Must provide own board. No larger than 2 foot by 2 foot.
• Non edible decorations must not surpass 10% of the board. (Does not include serving ware, dishes, etc.)
• All preparation is to be done at home. Assembly will be done at the Fairpark
• Bring your supplies to the Zion Building by 6:00 PM on THURSDAY, SEPT 14 and follow the fair's entry guidelines.
• Exhibitors must comply with safe food handling guidelines, and should obtain a food handlers permit.
• Limit one entry per household or address.
• You also agree that your winning board will become the property of the Utah State Fair which reserves the right to edit, adapt, copyright, publish, and use any or all of it for publicity, promotion, or advertising in any form of media without compensation to you.
• Recipes should be named, original, unpublished, the sole property of entrant and not previously submitted to any other contest.
• You hereby irrevocably authorize and grant permission to the Utah State Fair and others licensed or otherwise permitted by it to use and distribute your name, address, voice and likeness for any and all purposes, including publicity, advertising and trade purposes, by all means of publication including electronic and Internet, without any obligation or liability to you and without any additional approval or consent.
• With entry submission, you also acknowledge and agree that no claim relating thereto shall be asserted against CACHE VALLEY CREAMERY and the Utah State Fair or any of its officers, directors, employees, agencies, representatives, successors, assigns or shareholders.
• Taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
• With entry submission, you accept all Contest rules and agree to be bound by the judges' decisions, which will be final.
