Early in the pandemic, the Fairpark identified the need to have an accredited health and welfare safety plan. We identified
GBAC Star as the industry leader, and moved towards certification -
GBAC (Global Bio Risk Advisory Council) a subsidiary of
ISSA.
This accreditation confirms that the Utah State Fairpark has comprehensive disinfection and bio-hazard management plans and procedures in place to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases, providing our guests with assurances that their health and welfare is our number one priority.
