Utah State Fair Barrel Racing Series

The Utah State Fair and Fairpark would like to invite all the cowboys and cowgirls back for a second year of the Utah State Fairpark Barrel Racing Series. The Fairpark will host four races at the rodeo arena. The Open Division races are sanctioned by NBHA District 5. The open division will be run in the traditional 4D format and youth division will be held in 3D format. Awards will be given to 3rd place in each division with a 70 percent payback. Each race will have $500 added money. Youth running in the open division may carry over times to the youth division. Races will be held on the following dates:
- Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
- Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
- Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
- Saturday, September 7, 2013. 10:30 a.m. (During the Utah State Fair- Each entrant gets a ticket to the Fair)
Contestants can enter online or by mail. Series flyer, registration form and waiver can be found here. Day-of-Race registrations will also be taken. Day-of-registration is $40/run and will run at the end of the draw. Total payment is due with entry and no faxed entries will be accepted. Time only's will be $5.00/run and will run at 9:00 a.m.

Open Division: $35.00
Youth Division: $30.00
Time-Only: $5.00/run
Day-of-Registration: $40.00 (open and youth)
